Dubois County Community Foundation, Inc.
Everyone can be a Philanthropist
The Dubois County Community Foundation is a flexible vehicle for donors who wish to support their community with a gift, large or small. A donor may designate the gift to the unrestricted endowment, an administrative endowment, a field-of-interest fund, a designated fund, a donor-advised fund, any of the Foundation's existing endowment funds, or to the general operating fund. It is also simple and easy to establish a new fund if the donor so chooses.
The central purpose of the community foundation is to serve the needs and philanthropic aims of donors who wish to better their community, now and in the future. Community foundations do this by providing donors with flexible, efficient, and tax-effective ways to ensure their charitable giving achieves the greatest possible impact.
Your gift through your community foundation can benefit the agencies or causes you choose, or it can enable the community foundation to focus on new problems as times change. In either case, your gift will impact the citizens of your community forever.
You need not be a millionaire to make a significant gift to your community.
